Katie Quillen CJSJ bio

Katie Quillen graduated magna cum laude from Morehead State University in 2019, with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. She graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School in 2022. While in law school, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Rory Ryan, competed on three interscholastic moot court teams, and completed various internships. 

Before joining Cherry Johnson Siegmund James, Katie worked as a law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Manske, in Waco, Texas. She is licensed to practice in Texas, New Mexico, and the Western District of Texas, and practices in the areas of personal injury, business litigation, and other litigation matters. 

Katie grew up on a small cattle farm in Eastern Kentucky. She moved to Texas in 2019 after she married her husband, Henry. Katie, her husband, and their daughter Portia live in China Spring. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and friends, attends church at Christ Church Waco, and serves as an adjunct professor at Baylor Law, where she coaches moot court competition teams.
