Jacob Boswell is an experienced personal injury litigator. He has broad experience in handling cases involving commercial and personal vehicle accidents, wrongful deaths, and property damage. After spending years defending truck drivers and motorists for numerous insurance companies, Jacob brings his knowledge of the intricacies of insurance litigation to Cherry Johnson Siegmund James to help the injured seek compensation from those insurance companies. With experience on both sides, Jacob is able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of his cases in order to secure favorable settlements and verdicts for his clients. 

Jacob has handled a variety of litigation, including consumer protection cases, family law matters, business litigation, and building contractor disputes. Jacob now specializes in personal injury claims involving 18-wheeler accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful deaths. 

Jacob has been recognized by his colleagues as a Texas Super Lawyer and a Texas Rising Star, and by numerous other organizations as a top attorney in his field. He has interned for a district court judge, served as a guardian ad litem representing minors in injury cases, argued cases in all four federal district courts in Texas, and written briefs for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court. 

Jacob played NCAA Division II basketball at Harding University before graduating summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas. He attended the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Jacob is an Eagle Scout. He is a native of Dallas, where he lives with his wife. Jacob enjoys international travel, listening to books on Audible while walking his dogs, and spending time with his family.
